On 02 September 2018, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL YUKON" had a close quarters situation with a pleasure craft in the St. Lawrence River 4 nautical miles E of Champlain, QC. The bulk carrier altered its course to avoid a collision.
On 10 August 2014, the MT "MCT STOCKHORN" reported a crew member missing at anchor off Lanoraie, QC. The crew member swam to and went on board the “FEDERAL YUKON” berthed in Sorel 3.5 nm down river, 3 hours later.
On 20 October 2013, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL YUKON" experienced a steering gear pump failure while transiting on the St. Lawrence Seaway off Brockville, ON. The vessel had to anchor for repairs. No pollution or injuries, minor damage only.
On 18 January 2009, in the port of Sorel on the St. Lawrence River, while raising anchor, the crew of the vessel "FEDERAL YUKON" observed a cable fouled in the anchor. With assistance of a tug crew, the cable was removed from the anchor.
On 06 Oct 2006, while proceeding inbound to St. Lambert Lock, Montreal, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL YUKON" struck the west side approach wall and suffered damage.
On 21 November 2003, the upbound Federal Yukon touched the south shore channel side. No pollution - damage unknown.
On 09 August 2003, near Ste-Petronille Qc, the FEDERAL YUKON experienced a near collision with the sailling boat ILLICO.
