The quarterly median rose 8% in 2026 Q3 to $496/LDT, leaving it 6% under the 2024 Q2 high of $527/LDT. Across fourteen tracked breaker markets prices span $265 to $912/LDT, but the three subcontinent yards carrying 67% of tracked priced sales settle within $52 of one another.

The wide end of the range is the thin end: the seven thin markets span a $514 band on 32 tracked sales between them, against $247 across 248 sales in the seven deep markets. No market with twelve or more tracked sales prices above $512, and every market above it rests on four sales or fewer.
