On 19 July 2021, the passenger ferry "KWUNA" reported its rescue boat davit as non-operational in Skidegate, BC. The davit was subsequently repaired by a shore technician.
On 05 November 2015, the passenger ferry "KWUNA" reported a breakdown of its No. 2 main engine at Skidigate landing, BC. The vessel was towed to Aliford Bay, BC to carry out repairs.
On 20 July 2013, the BCFS "KWUNA" and the P/C "TAI PAN VI" were involved in a close quarters situation at Skidigate Inlet, Haida Gwaii, B.C. No damage, injuries or pollution reported.
On 01 March 2010, the BCFS ferry "KWUNA" felt vibration on No. 2 RAD Engine. Upon inspection, a tire was found stuck in the RAD and the ferry not operational. Divers cut the tire free and vessel resumed service. No other damage to RAD reported.
