On 10 September 2005, the cruise ship "NORWEGIAN DREAM" struck dock while berthing at Prince Rupert Harbour, BC.
The pilot of the Norwegian Dream reported that while berthing alongside at Quebec Harbour, section 22, the vessel struck the quay. Minor damage on port side, no pollution.
V/l sustained an electrical transformer failure in the engine-room. Propulsion power lost but auxiliary power in operation. Various resources dispatched to area as vessel stopped and drifting. At 302235Z, power restored.
