On 25 December 2025, the bulk carrier "NUKUMI" reported having run aground in the Chenal de la Grande Entrée, QC. The vessel was refloated with the assistance of the tug "CTMA RANGER" and the fishing vessel "JC LAPIERRE" and secured at the wharf. Divers inspected the hull and observed no damage.
On 06 August 2025, the bulk carrier "NUKUMI" reported having run aground in Chenal de la Grande Entrée, QC. The vessel refloated at high tide, assisted by the tugs "POINT CHEBUCTO" and "CTMA RANGER". The vessel was towed to a nearby anchorage, where divers assessed for damage.
On 06 June 2025, the bulk carrier "NUKUMI" reported having experienced a close quarters situation with 2 personal watercrafts at the western end of Lake Saint-Pierre, QC.
On 21 March 2025, the bulk carrier "NUKUMI", reported having sustained a minor electrical fire in its engine room while proceeding in the Port of Montreal, QC. The crew extinguished the fire and the vessel continued its voyage.
On 13 July 2024, the bulk carrier "NUKUMI", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported having sustained a total failure of its electrical power supply system causing a loss of propulsion in the St. Lawrence River off Sault-au-Cochon, QC. The vessel was anchored and the crew assessed the issue.
On 26 April 2024, the bulk carrier "NUKUMI", with 16 people on board, reported that one of its crew members had sustained an injury upon the vessel's departure from Grande-Entrée, QC. The crew member was transferred onto the Canadian Coast Guard Ship "BAIE DE PLAISANCE" and transported to hospital.
