On 12 August 2022, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL LEDA" reported two cracks on its lower pintle bearing while docked in Sorel-Tracey, QC. Temporary repairs were completed by divers.
On 01 May 2020, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL LEDA" sustained a main engine failure and was disabled off Les Bergeronnes, QC. After repairs were made the vessel continued its voyage.
On 30 January 2019, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL LEDA" reported that the sea suctions were blocked by ice in the St. Lawrence River off Baie-Comeau, QC, causing a black out. The crew cleaned the sea strainers, made adjustments to the cooling systems and the vessel resumed its voyage.
On 23 July 2018, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL LEDA" sustained the failure of its main engine and anchored at the Grassy Island Anchorage 3 nautical miles E of Cornwall, ON. The crew carried out the repairs and the vessel later resumed its voyage.
On 10 August 2017, the bulk carrier "FEDERAL LEDA" reported the failure of its main engine and proceeded to the nearby anchorage off Sorel-Tracy, QC. The crew carried out the repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage.
On 24 February 2013, the chief officer of the M/V "FEDERAL LEDA" fell overboard while reading ship's draft in Baie Comeau, Quebec. He was sent to hospital and released soon after with a minor injury.
On 12 February 2013, the "FEDERAL LEDA", sustained propeller damage while backing up in ice, changing dock in Port Alfred Harbour, Quebec. No injuries or pollution reported.
On 06 January 2010, while docking with two tugs at Bécancour Quebec, the B/C "FEDERAL LEDA" forecastle bulwark struck a shore discharging gear. There was no damage to the vessel and no pollution reported.
