One vessel, every compliance signal in one place: sanctions exposure path, composite risk, dark-fleet behaviour, flag history and safety record.
No sanctions exposure was found, but the composite risk read is elevated. See the breakdown below.
Sanctions exposure screens the hull and its ownership chain against official OFAC, EU, UN and UK designations, then propagates a sanctioned owner or parent down to the vessels it controls. The composite risk read blends age, flag register, port-state detentions, dark-fleet behaviour and sanctions exposure, weighted by how much evidence is present. Every signal shows its own evidence. This is decision support for a compliance review, not a legal determination.
Composite Risk
Strong, corroborated adverse evidence: a detention, sanctions exposure or an AIS-gap / behavioural signal.
A coverage-weighted blend of the 4 components we could read for this hull; the weights renormalise over only the components present, so a thin read is never inflated and a hull is never credited a “safe 0” for a signal it has no row for. Higher means riskier. Derived in-house from government-open port-State-control, flag, sanctions and our own vessel data; weight it by the coverage above.
Compliance
On 19 January 2024, the bulk carrier "NACC ALICUDI", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported having sustained a total loss of electrical power and propulsion after departure from Port of Montréal, QC. The vessel was assisted to the closest anchorage in Chenal de la Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC by the tug "OCEAN PIERRE JULIEN" for repairs.
On 28 March 2023, the bulk carrier "NACC ALICUDI" reported having sustained an engine issue while entering lock no. 1 in the Welland Canal, ON. The issue was solved and the vessel continued its voyage.
On 16 March 2022, the cement carrier "NACC ALICUDI" reported being disabled with engine problems in the Gulf of St. Lawrence off L'Arbre-à-Spring, QC. While the vessel drifted, the crew carried out repairs that permitted the vessel to resume its voyage.
On 08 January 2022, the bulk carrier "NACC ALICUDI", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported being disabled due to its main sea water system being blocked by ice which caused its main engine to overheat in the St. Lawrence River off Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, QC. The vessel anchored nearby to assess the issue and perform repairs.
On 08 January 2022, the cement carrier "NACC ALICUDI", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported being disabled due to a propulsion failure in the St. Lawrence River off Saint-Bernard-sur-Mer, QC. The vessel was towed to Québec City, QC for repairs.
On 25 December 2021, the cement carrier "NACC ALICUDI”, while under the conduct of a pilot, reported being disabled due to its main sea water system being blocked by ice which caused the main engine to overheat in the St. Lawrence River off Saint-François-de-l’Île-d’Orléans, QC. After anchoring nearby, the crew carried out repairs which allowed the vessel to resume its voyage.
On 08 September 2021, the bulk carrier "NACC ALICUDI", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported the failure of its main engine due to the loss of its sea water cooling system in the St. Lawrence River off Lanoraie, QC. While drifting, the crew carried out repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage.

Signals are a current-state view: a flag clears once the vessel stops tripping its detector. These are screening indicators, not a substitute for your own due diligence.
