One vessel, every compliance signal in one place: sanctions exposure path, composite risk, dark-fleet behaviour, flag history and safety record.
Screened against official OFAC, EU, UN and UK designations. Composite risk is moderate.
Composite Risk
Some elevated factors (typically age or a lower-graded flag), but no acute ship-specific flag.
Sanctions exposure screens the hull and its ownership chain against official OFAC, EU, UN and UK designations, then propagates a sanctioned owner or parent down to the vessels it controls. The composite risk read blends age, flag register, port-state detentions, dark-fleet behaviour and sanctions exposure, weighted by how much evidence is present. Every signal shows its own evidence. This is decision support for a compliance review, not a legal determination.
Screen the whole fleet on the risk boardA coverage-weighted blend of the 2 components we could read for this hull; the weights renormalise over only the components present, so a thin read is never inflated and a hull is never credited a “safe 0” for a signal it has no row for. Higher means riskier. Derived in-house from government-open port-State-control, flag, sanctions and our own vessel data; weight it by the coverage above.
Compliance
On 29 January 2025, the container vessel "MSC ANGELA" reported that during cargo operations in the Port of Montreal, containers fell onto the vessel's deck and the pier. Cargo operations were stopped while the crew checked for damage to the vessel. The fallen containers were removed from the vessel and pier, and the vessel resumed cargo operations. No damage to the vessel was reported.
On 11 December 2024, the container ship "MSC ANGELA", while preparing for pilot change, reported having sustained a total engine failure at Pointe-des-Ormes, QC. The vessel was anchored, and the crew assessed the issue.
On 30 March 2017, the container ship "MSC ANGELA" sustained a main engine fuel injection problem while transiting south of Anticosti Island, QC. The crew carried out the repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage.
