On 22 March 2011, a crewmember on board the tug "FLORENCE M" sustain head injuries when falling on main deck, at section 16 in the Port of Sorel, Quebec. The crewmember has been transported to the hospital.
On 10 November 2010, the barge "SAULT AU COCHON" parted its towing wire and grounded on a reef offshore of the Pictou Lodge, N.S. Efforts are being made to refloat the barge.
On 20 September 2009 off the Gaspé Peninsula in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the tug "FLORENCE M", towing the barge "SAULT AU COCHON", sustained a failure of the port main engine requiring the vessel to dock in Gaspé, Québec, to carry out repairs.
The motor tug "POINT VIBERT" with 6 POB was reported taking on water from the sterntube. Vessel subsequently proceeded to Sydney, NS without further incident.
The M/V "POINT VIBERT" with 6 POB reported a fire in the stack. The fire was extinguished and the vessel proceeded to Sydney without further incident.
