On 16 June 2022, the bulk carrier "GREENWING" reported sustaining the failure of its main engine turbocharger on Lake Erie off Port Alma, ON. The vessel anchored to carry out repairs.
On 10 October 2021, the bulk carrier "GREENWING", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported experiencing main engine bridge control issues which resulted in the vessel running aground off section 100 of the Harbour in Montréal, QC. The vessel berthed with the assistance of two tugs to assess the damage.
On 05 December 2018, the bulk carrier "GREENWING" reported a machinery failure while approaching the St. Lawrence seaway lock No 3 lower wall off Beauharnois, QC. There were no injuries or pollution reported.
On 11 December 2014, the bulk carrier "GREENWING", with 21 people on board, reported being disabled with main engine failure. The crew effected repairs at sea and the bulk carrier proceeded to St. John's, NL. No injuries or pollution reported.
