On 31 July 2008, sailing passenger vessel "CALEDONIA" reported aground off Norris Point, NL. V/L hopes to float off the sandbar at high tide. No assistance required at that time.
On 19 July 2008, while berthing at Sect 18 of the Port of Quebec, the passenger vessel "CALEDONIA" struck the wharf. The vessel sustained very minor damages but some damages were observed on the wharf. There were no injuries or pollution reported.
Vessel reported a break down of generator no. 1. Piston no.7 was completely destroyed. Cause unkown.
Atlantic Hawk resquested the Cape Harrison make a turn to starboard to give him more room for a port to port passage. Cape Harrison turned to port causing a close quarters situation.
Bulk carrier reported that survey vessel had passed very close on starboard side.
