Between 1982 and 1998 she sailed as Saint Patrick II, between 1998 and 2000 as Egnatia II, in 2000 as Ville de Séte and between 2001 and 2002 as City of Cork, before being sold to CTMA. In January 2024 she was renamed Ancier to be prepared for scrapping.
Compliance
On 27 August 2022, the ferry "C.T.M.A. VACANCIER", while anchored, reported being struck by the fishing vessel "SÉBASTIEN M." in the St. Lawrence River off Matane, QC. After inspecting for damage, both vessels continued on their voyage.
On 22 January 2019, the passenger vessel “C.T.M.A. VACANCIER” sustained a starboard main engine failure, caused by a malfunction of the governor, 1.5 nautical miles NW of Matane, QC. Due to the ice conditions, the vessel was unable to reach Matane on its remaining engine. The crew effected repairs, the ice conditions improved, and the vessel was able to berth in Matane 9 hours later.
On 20 September 2018, the passenger ship "C.T.M.A. VACANCIER" sustained a starboard main engine failure, caused by a malfunction of the fuel system, 0.3 nautical miles SW of Trois-Rivières, QC. The vessel continued its voyage using the port side main engine while the starboard engine was stopped for a short time for repairs.
On 28 March 2015, the passenger vessel "C.T.M.A. VACANCIER" reported a crack in its hull 25.5 nautical miles SSE off Cap-aux-Meules, QC. The vessel's crew carried out temporay repairs and the vessel escorted by the Canadian Coast Guard vessel "TERRY FOX" towards Cap-aux-Meules, QC.

Composite Risk
Multiple adverse factors, or a hard ship-specific signal, lift this hull above the fleet norm.
A coverage-weighted blend of the single component we could read for this hull; the weights renormalise over only the components present, so a thin read is never inflated and a hull is never credited a “safe 0” for a signal it has no row for. This headline is flagged low-confidence (a thin or structural-only read) and should not be treated as a verdict. Higher means riskier. Derived in-house from government-open port-State-control, flag, sanctions and our own vessel data; weight it by the coverage above.
Commercial
Price it in the Route Planner between any two commercial ports: ballast and laden legs, two fuels at live bunker prices, port and canal costs, the weather on the way, and the TCE set against the market.
