Tamer Erendağ graduated from TUDEV Maritime Academy (currently Piri Reis University) in 2004. He commenced his seagoing career at Deniz Nakliyatı, where he completed his service as a deck officer, and later joined Mardaş Denizcilik as Chief Officer. In 2014, he was promoted to Ocean-Going Master at Mardaş Deniz İşletmeciliği. Subsequently, he commanded Kamsarmax and Supramax vessels as Master for prominent organizations including Diler Denizcilik, Marinsa Denizcilik, and Fleet Management (FML Cyprus Office). Since 2022, he has been serving as the Fleet Manager and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) at Ocean Tanker İşletmeciliği, while concurrently holding the same executive roles at its sister company, Safir Gemi.
