Kemal leads content, interviews and digital storytelling across The Maritime. With more than a decade in the industry, he reports the key players, the emerging trends and the operational realities of global shipping in depth, in writing and on film.
Before The Maritime he worked as a vessel operator at Imza Marine A.S., where he learned commercial shipping and voyage operations first-hand, and as marketing communications specialist at Gimas Ship Supply & Services, running corporate communication and industry outreach for shipowners and maritime clients.
He holds a master's degree in Maritime Transportation Management from Istanbul Technical University and a master's in Publishing from Marmara University. His work is driven by a conviction that the maritime world deserves media as serious as the industry itself: informed, accessible, and built to carry the stories of the people who move the world's trade.
