On 14 August 2023, the passenger ship "NORWEGIAN SUN" reported one of its crew members had sustained an injury in the Pacific Ocean off Hibben Island, BC. The crew member was evacuated by helicopter and sent to a hospital.
On 18 September 2013, the "NORWEGIAN SUN" reported a close quarters situation with F/V "PACIFIC REWARD" near Trial Islands, B.C. The cruise ship had to effect an emergency stop to avoid collision with F/V. No injuries, pollution or damage reported.
On 25 May 2007, the cruise ship "NORWEGIAN SUN" reported a crew member sustained serious injuries. The Canadian Coast Guard V/L "POINT HENRY" transported the individual to Prince Rupert.
