On 26 July 2026, the container ship "MSC MATILDE V", reported having found a crack in the starboard side fuel tank number 2 while docked at the section 50 in the Port of Montreal, QC. There was a minor pollution.
On 01 July 2024, the container ship "MSC MATILDE V", while under the conduct of a pilot, reported having sustained the total failure of its astern propulsion at the entrance of Halifax Harbour, NS. The crew resolved the issue and the vessel proceeded in the harbour for berthing under tug assistance. Additional repairs were effected alongside.
On 13 May 2019, the container vessel "MSC MATILDE", under the conduct of a pilot, was reported disabled due to a main engine failure in the St. Lawrence River off Saint-François-de l'Ile-D'Orléans, QC. The crew carried out repairs while the vessel was drifting and the vessel resumed its voyage. No injuries, damage, or pollution was reported.

While manoeuvring to anchor, the main engine failed to start astern and the vessel had to anchor in the navigation channel. The vessel reached the Quebec harbor, QC later for repairs.
