    On 17 February 2016, the bulk carrier "LOS ANGELES" while at anchor in the Sept-Iles bay anchorage, reported that the free-fall lifeboat accidentally fell into the sea. At the time, there were no personnel in the lifeboat, no drills or maintenance being performed on the launching system. The lifeboat was later recovered by the crew using the vessel's rescue boat.
