On 25 July 2020, the bulk carrier "LABRADOR" reported mechanical issues on its 3 shipboard auxiliary engines and proceeded to the Les Rasades anchorage 12 nautical miles ESE of Les Escoumins, QC. The crew is awaiting spares and shoreside assistance to conduct the repairs.
On 24 December 2018, the bulk carrier "LABRADOR" reported machinery failure on the Saint-Lawrence River and had to anchor off Saint-Nicholas, QC. The crew carried out the repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage.
On 25 December 2017, the bulk carrier "LABRADOR" reported sea water suction problems caused by ice in the St-Lawrence river off Pointe -Au Pic, QC. The vessel reduced speed and anchored on two occasions, cleaned their strainers and continued the voyage.
On 14 December 2011, the Chief Officer onboard the docked vessel "LABRADOR" fell overboard while attempting to take ship's draught. He was shortly thereafter recovered by the crew. No injury reported.
