Freight index history · 1 Jun 2026 to 15 Oct 2026
Daily Index Levels
The full daily history of every freight index we publish. Re-based to 100 at the window start so the dry-bulk and tanker markets are momentum-comparable on a single axis; switch to raw levels for the actual index points.
Re-based: each visible leg starts at 100 on the first day in the window, so a reading of 120 means that market is about 20% above where it began. The dry-bulk composite and the four vessel classes share one scale; the tanker composites are level-comparable only in re-based view. One point per publishing day. Indicative; not investment advice.
Time-charter earnings · 1 Jun 2026 to 15 Oct 2026
Average TC Earnings History
Average daily time-charter earnings ($/day) for each dry-bulk vessel class: the dollars a shipowner actually earns per day on the spot market. Raw dollars, no re-basing.
TC earnings are carried per class for the dry-bulk classes only; the composite and tanker legs publish a level, not a TC figure. Indicative; not investment advice.
How to read this
- Daily indices and daily time-charter earnings carry one point per publishing day, with no interpolation. Non-publishing days simply have no point.
- Realised TCE is the median realised time-charter equivalent ($/day) for each vessel class, one point per quarter. The monthly estimate fills the path between realised quarters; its shaded band is the typical range.
- Rebased 100 divides every series by its own first value in the range (×100), so markets on very different scales become comparable on one axis. % change shows the same move as a percentage.
- Indicative market context, not spot quotes and not investment advice.
